Extensive Computer skills, adaptable to new software 2
years' experience in customer-service required Proven ability to proofreader, with careful attention to detail Capable of working successfully with minimal supervision Success as a highly collaborative team member Social Media Management Knowledge of local community Daily Tasks & Job Duties:
Works with Chamber President and CEO with calendars, communication and Board of Director meetings and planning sessions by taking minutes, task lists, etc.
Engage with members daily to understand and advance their business objectives.
Showcase the success stories, innovative endeavors, and Social Media coverage of the local business community, assists in writing social media content for the Chamber and Tourism related posts.
In partnership with the Sponsorship Coordinator - assist with maintaining Chamber recognition archive celebrating businesses and sponsors Promptly welcomes Chamber and Tourist guests courteously and answers all questions, reporting visitation data Maintains accurate and updated contact information in the Chamber database on all member organizations and their representatives; assures that member information is accurate on the Chamber website and in all documents Maintains the Chamber Calendar of events, sending calendar invites Assists Event Coordinator in event planning, preparation, implementation, and follow-up.
Includes but not limited to - monitor registration and wait lists; confirm venues and agendas; draft presentation as needed; prepare speaker/sponsor bios as needed In partnership with the Membership and Sponsorship Coordinators, produces important documents including annual membership renewals, sponsorship invoices and thank you letters; assures all documents are accurate, complete, and created in a timely manner.
Contributes to the long-term financial viability of the Chamber by understanding the organization's financial needs and, with the CEO, successfully meeting the annual budget goals.
Maintains Chamber Office - Board Room coffee bar, seasonal d cor, plants Maintains Information Kiosk for Visitors Center - Communicates proactively with Chamber and community members to organize and restock printed materials at the Visitor Center, at local businesses, Town buildings, and kiosks.
Keep up with weekly newspaper delivery.
Maintains Office Supplies, Equipment and Inventory - monitor vendors, orders, pricing Chamber Well Wishes - handwritten cards, flowers, etc.
