Job Description:
What will the job look like?You will be responsible for:
Collaborating with manufacturing operations to perform manufacturing studies and analysis for accuracy of bills of material.Creating master data according to specified guidelines.Creating or changing Bills of Materials for parts or assemblies by using reference data (engineering drawings, specification, or calculation tools) under the direction of engineers.Performing preparation tasks for material cost estimates for parts.Interfaces with engineering, purchasing, cost accounting, and plant material planners to ensure correctness of data created.Completing Engineering Change Notice (ECN) as assigned
Qualifications:
What do you need to succeed?High school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Requires at least 2 years related experience.Strong oral and written communication skills .Ability to communicate and anticipate needs.Ability to identify root causes.Sense of urgency to complete tasks.Ability to understand engineering documents.Experience in systems working with bills of materials.Knowledge of engineering change processes is beneficial.Effective cross-functional communication skills.This is an on-site opportunity based out of our corporate office in West Columbia, South CarolinaIt will require travel to our Orangeburg, South Carolina manufacturing facility 2x per week with a remote option on Fridays.
